Lily James embraced her inner Anderson at the finale of “Pam & Tommy” Tuesday night.
The “Downton Abbey” actress debuted a very Pam look at the Disney+ and Hulu series afterparty, wearing a black latex Versace dress that recalled Anderson’s mid-90s ensembles.
Joining co-star Sebastian Stan, who plays Tommy Lee, and the biopic’s executive producer Seth Rogan (who also plays a pivotal role in the miniseries), the star, 32, posed in her form-fitting frock.
The sexy belted dress featured an asymmetrical cutout at the chest, giving flashbacks to the glory days of Pam and Tommy.
The “Rebecca” beauty added mule heels with glittering embellishments at the front and a simple, slicked back hairstyle.
Earlier in the night, James wore an equally jaw-dropping Roberto Cavalli halter gown with a harness detail at the neck, glittering in gold at the red carpet finale.
The semi-sheer, sequined gold outfit, from Cavalli’s autumn/winter 2022 collection, was a departure from the bold corset look the “Cinderella” star sported at the show’s premiere in January.
“It’s always such a huge responsibility to play someone, a real person, particularly with Pam,” James told Entertainment Tonight at the event.
Adding that Anderson is “such an icon,” the actress said she tried “to capture her spirit and really explore what happened at that time and how she was treated and how things have changed, or not changed.”
The show follows Anderson and Lee’s tumultuous relationship during the 1990s and Anderson’s “Baywatch” days, especially in the aftermath of their infamous sex tape reveal.
James went through “anywhere from three to five hours of hair and makeup every morning” to transform into the blonde bombshell while filming the show, according to Barry Lee Moe, hair department lead for “Pam & Tommy.”
With wardrobe this good, we can’t help but hope for a second season.
